D
- Ed Haley Source (John Salyer has a version recorded at around the same time)
- Spotted Pony is attributed to Missouri fiddler Lyman Enloe. The earliest recording I can find of them playing this tune is on this compilation, but it doesn't sound much like the modern versions of the tune ... or at least how we've played it in Colorado.
- Jimmy Driftwood Source allegedly, Jimmy Driftwood may have picked this tune up from Absie Morrison in Arkansas
G
- Burl Hammonds Source Big Scioty likely came from Ohio. The tune's name references the Scioto River. Burl likely did not compose this tune and instead, learned it from other sources.
Jeff City (aka Bill Katon's Tune)
- Source Recording Jeff City was allegedly composed by Bill Katon, a black fiddler from Missouri.
- Kyle Creed Source Creed learned this tune from friend "Roscoe Russell" and called this tune "Roscoe" as a result
- Doc Roberts Source This tune dates back to Ireland and is known as "Over the Moor to Maggie"
- Composed by Oscar Wilson. I can't find a source recording, but you can learn more about Oscar "Red" Wilson here
- Source is Bill Helms. Recording above is the original recording.

D
- Jimmy Driftwood Source allegedly, Jimmy Driftwood may have picked this tune up from Absie Morrison in Arkansas
- Recorded by Gus Cannon's Jug Stompers as "Pig Ankle Strut" in 1928. Pig Ankle Rag become popularized later by Dick Hutchinson and Ron Hughey in the Ozarks. Each of these fiddlers' versions have unique takes on the meldoy. Ron Hughey Source - Dick Hutchinson Source
- This tune has French Canadian origins. According to the Traditional Tune Archive, St. Anne's Reel likely originated from Quebec and was first recorded in Montreal by Willie Ringuette. For the life of me I can't find an online recording of Willie's playing, but I was able to locate a recording from French Canadian fiddler Isidore Soucy. I feel like this is a cool way to hear this tune in its French Canadian stylings. Isidore Soucy Recording
- Modern tune composed by dance caller Peter Lippincott.

A
- There are a number of ways that folks play the tune "Lost Indian" During the jam, we played this tune out of calico tuning, but it was played at a previous jam out of cross A. You can find a number of different styles of meloides for this tune in calico. Notably, Eck Robertson has. great calico version of this tune as well as Ed Haley. I believe that Judy and Gus are playing the tune closer to Ed Haley's version. During the jam, we played a version that I was unfamiliar with and I don't think was tied to Eck's or Ed's version specifically.
- Holy moly, you need to watch Tricia Spencer and Howard Raines talk about this tune: VIDEO
